| WDS Has Designer Positions Open! |

The Well Dressed Sim is going to be getting bigger and better. The first item of business is to bring on board new designers to ensure that we have a wider variety of furnishings, clothing and salon items more often. We'll also be adding new features that make WDS smoother and easier and more attractive. Find out how to join the team!
If you're a designer and you'd like to be a part of WDS and make some extra money, please read the information below and take the link to the application at the bottom of this page.
We're looking for:
The Sims 2 Hair and Makeup Designers who can create a new hair mesh each month
The Sims 2 Clothing Designers who can create 5-10 skins per month
The Sims 2 Object Designers who can create a 5-10 object set each month
Deadline for designers to apply:
Wednesday, June 21st at 12midnight GMT; (8pm Eastern; 7pm Central; 6pm Mountain; 5pm Pacific in the US)
The application form
Prospective designers will be asked several questions that help us determine if WDS is a good fit for the candidate.
Prospective designers are asked to provide three (3) screenshots of original work to be uploaded with the application form. It's okay if these items are already on the web somewhere because these items won't be used by WDS. The actual screenshots should probably be done specifically for this application because the application form requires that you upload them at a certain size.
There is also a place for applicants to ask questions of us.
Review of samples
For those that make it to this stage of the process, prospective designers will be asked for samples of their best work (in finished product form) so we can evaluate them for quality and originality. These items will not be used on WDS so it's okay if they're already on the web somewhere. These files will be deleted after we're done with them and won't be shared with anyone.
We may contact the applicant for further samples or to ask questions about the item(s).
Interviews
For those that make it to this final stage of the process, we'll send out an email with some specific questions for the prospective designers to return by a specified deadline.
In replying to the interview email, applicants are encouraged to ask questions of us so they can determine if WDS is a good fit for them.
This is also where the specifics of compensation will be discussed and we can set up a personal chat or phone call.
