Keeping up the standards

Because of recent events and the failings of a previous host of The Sim, the Well Dressed Sim has stepped in to insure the survival of the paper.

Because of a few minor inconsistencies with audience demographic between The Sim and the Well Dressed Sim a few changes have been proposed for consideration to the editor.

First, although The Sim has an exemplary track record in bringing the news, there have been slight controversies involving at least one alleged hoax. We would ask that stories that might be inflammatory or misleading be cut and replaced with more common news of the day such as other sites updates or community news.

Next, a more complimentary parody of sites would be in order. The Un-Dressed Sim was found to be without humor. For this example, it could be the Well Clothed Sim. I'm sure you could make this much funnier and it wouldn't reflect poorly on your landlord.

Finally, The Sim should endeavor to back up its statements with a bibliography page that details your sources of information and lends credibility to your news coverage.

We at the Well Dressed Sim have every hope that a lasting relationship is being built with The Sim. A few changes will be necessary but I'm sure your audience will appreciate the differences. If we work together and you are open to constructive criticism I'm sure your little newspaper will be a great success.

Claw fails to register on latest poll: WDS takes top three slots

No interest

In a surprising last-minute turnaround, the popular Sims site The Well Dressed Sim took the coveted top three slots in The Sim's Am I Hot or Not? competition earlier today, sending Claw's cheeky entry straight to the bottom. Despite a valiant rear-guard action by Seven Deadly Sims webmaster Claw, his skin rated only 9.9 HU (Hot Units) out of a possible 10. Normally, this would have been enough to secure the top position.

But a late posting of three WDS pictures, followed by an entirely plausible 10,000 votes of '10' for each, meant that Claw's entry was relegated to the dustbin of history.

"I'm disappointed, sure" said Claw, when told of the result "Some people are saying it's a bum rap. But when I saw the quality of those entries from WDS, well, my heart soared like a hawk. Good for them!"
